Responsible Use & Content Guidelines

Effective January 30, 2026

This Acceptable Use & Client Content Policy outlines reasonable guidelines for the use of websites, applications, and services designed, developed, or managed by eCreations, LLC (“eCreations,” “we,” “our”).

This policy exists to clarify responsibility—not to police behavior—and applies to all clients and authorized users of systems we build, maintain, or access.

Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to:

  • websites, applications, and platforms designed or developed by eCreations
  • WordPress and WooCommerce installations
  • hosting, maintenance, or support services provided by eCreations
  • any content uploaded, published, transmitted, or stored through systems built or managed by eCreations

This policy applies regardless of whether services are provided directly by eCreations or through third-party platforms.

Client Responsibility for Content

Clients are solely responsible for all content they upload, publish, transmit, or make available through their websites or applications, including but not limited to:

  • text and written materials
  • images, video, and audio
  • downloadable files
  • product listings and descriptions
  • user-generated content
  • form submissions and collected data

eCreations does not own, control, or approve client content and is not responsible for its accuracy, legality, or compliance with applicable laws.

Acceptable Use

Clients agree to use websites and systems built or managed by eCreations in a lawful, responsible manner consistent with applicable regulations and industry standards.

Prohibited Use

Clients may not use websites or systems built or managed by eCreations to:

  • violate any applicable local, state, federal, or international law
  • infringe intellectual property rights, including copyrights or trademarks
  • distribute malware, malicious code, or exploit vulnerabilities
  • engage in spam, phishing, fraud, or deceptive practices
  • host or distribute unlawful, abusive, or exploitative material
  • facilitate unauthorized access to systems, data, or networks

This list is representative, not exhaustive.

Third-Party Platforms & Services

Many websites built by eCreations rely on third-party platforms, plugins, themes, hosting providers, and services.

Clients are responsible for complying with the acceptable use policies, terms, and content requirements of any third-party services integrated into their website or application.

eCreations is not responsible for enforcement actions taken by third-party providers.

Monitoring & Access

eCreations does not actively monitor client content.

However, we may access systems when reasonably necessary to:

  • perform contracted services
  • investigate technical issues
  • respond to security concerns
  • address abuse reports or legal notices

Access does not imply review, approval, or responsibility for content.

Abuse Reports & Legal Requests

If eCreations receives a credible abuse report, takedown request, or legal notice related to a client’s content, we may:

  • notify the client
  • request clarification or remediation
  • temporarily restrict access if necessary to prevent harm or liability

Clients are expected to respond promptly and cooperatively to reasonable requests.

Enforcement

Failure to comply with this policy may result in:

  • suspension of services
  • removal of access
  • termination of service agreements

Any enforcement action will be proportionate and based on the specific circumstances.

Relationship to Other Agreements

This policy supplements, and does not replace:

In the event of a conflict, the governing service agreement controls.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
